The BBC have controversially given Aston Villa manager and Raymond Domenech lookalike, Martin O’Neill a written warning for breaking British broadcasting guidelines and stating that EURO 2008 has been ‘bloody brilliant’ without England’s talentless, overhyped, leaden footed, retards stinking up the tournament.
The hyperactive Ulster loon has been seen by viewers baffling his two perma-tanned, idiotic colleagues, Alans, Hansen and Shearer, by actively enjoying the quality of the football and even discussing the tactics employed by the foreign coachs rather than huffily criticising the likes of Austria and Poland for not having any players of the quality of Michael Carrick or Jermaine Jenas.
Despite Lineker and co’s attempts to distract England supporters by crow barring in as many references to the Premier League as possible, with any player having a good game, no matter what nationality, being a potential transfer target for the likes of Fulham or Hull City, and all British commentators being contractually obliged to use the FA approved nomenclature such as Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal and England’s conquerors Croatia, apparently some English football fans have actually been enjoying the tournament.
